Newborn acne treatment and remedies:

Acne is a disease that doesn’t just affect teenagers, up to one-third of children suffer from it due to the significant increase in hormones in women in late pregnancy. This increase in hormones is reflected in newborns’ excess sebum, which leads to small pimples that usually appear at birth and affect babies up to 4 months.

How to treat newborn acne:

*Apply cotton or gauze soaked in mineral water or physiological saline to acne lesions twice a day.

*Then rub them with a soft cloth and dry them well, making sure that there is no moisture in the wound.

*If spittle comes out of the baby’s mouth, wipe it repeatedly with a clean cloth. Because saliva from baby’s mouth is harmful to acne  especially when the areas are wet.

*Never put your fingernails on the child’s legs as the fingernails can cause more damage to the area.
